RSA / Non-Qualified Workshop Technician – Hillcrest
Job Overview
A well-established motor dealership in Hillcrest is seeking an experienced RSA / Workshop Assistant with previous automotive workshop experience.
This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on, non-trade-tested technician who has practical experience working in a motor dealership service environment.
The successful candidate will assist with pre-delivery inspections (PDIs), radio and accessory fitments, vehicle preparation and general workshop duties.
Key Responsibilities
Perform vehicle pre-delivery inspections.
Fit radios and approved vehicle accessories.
Assist with basic vehicle preparation and maintenance.
Support qualified Technicians with workshop duties.
Perform general vehicle checks and inspections.
Maintain workshop cleanliness and safety standards.
Minimum Requirements
Previous automotive workshop or motor dealership service experience is essential.
Practical mechanical knowledge.
Experience with vehicle PDIs advantageous.
Experience fitting radios and vehicle accessories beneficial.
Ability to perform basic workshop tasks.
Reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented.
Ability to follow instructions and work with qualified Technicians.
Formal Motor Mechanic trade qualification is not required.
Salary & Benefits
R10,000 – R11,000 per month, negotiable depending on experience.
