Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician – Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal
Job Overview
A reputable motor dealership in Hillcrest is seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join its workshop team.
The successful candidate must be a trade-tested Motor Mechanic with strong practical servicing, mechanical repair and fault-finding abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Perform minor and major vehicle services.
Carry out routine vehicle maintenance.
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
Inspect and test vehicle components.
Perform general repairs and replacements.
Complete job cards and workshop documentation.
Ensure all work meets workshop quality standards.
Maintain workshop safety and cleanliness.
Minimum Requirements
Qualified, trade-tested Motor Mechanic.
Minimum 3–5 years' practical automotive experience.
Strong mechanical repair and servicing knowledge.
Good diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
Experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models.
Previous motor dealership workshop experience advantageous.
High standards of workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's licence preferred.
Salary & Benefits
R15,000 – R18,000 per month, negotiable depending on experience.
