Job Overview
A fast-moving, high-volume dealership in Durban is seeking an experienced and results-driven Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager to join their successful team.
This opportunity is ideal for a strong leader with a proven track record in dealership sales management who can drive performance, maximise profitability, and motivate a sales team to consistently achieve outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and manage the Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales team.
Achieve monthly sales, profitability, and gross profit targets.
Manage vehicle stock levels, pricing strategies, ageing stock, and stock turnover.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximise departmental performance.
Coach, mentor, and develop sales executives to achieve their full potential.
Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Monitor and improve customer satisfaction and dealership CSI performance.
Ensure compliance with dealership policies, procedures, and manufacturer standards.
Prepare and analyse sales reports and departmental performance metrics.
Minimum Requirements
Proven experience as a Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager within a franchised motor dealership.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Ability to drive profitability while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
Valid driver's licence.
Stable employment history with contactable references.
Clear criminal record and ITC.
Salary & Benefits
Basic Salary: R25,000 – R35,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)
