Job Overview
A top-selling, fast-moving franchised dealership in Durban is seeking an experienced and results-driven Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager to lead its successful used vehicle sales department.
This opportunity is ideal for a dynamic leader with a proven track record in dealership sales management who can drive sales performance, maximise profitability, and develop a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Department.
Drive monthly sales, profitability, and gross profit targets.
Manage vehicle stock levels, pricing strategies, ageing stock, and stock turnover.
Recruit, coach, mentor, and motivate the sales team.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Monitor and improve Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) performance.
Ensure compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer standards.
Prepare and analyse departmental sales reports.
Minimum Requirements
Proven experience as a Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager within a franchised motor dealership.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
Valid driver's licence.
Stable employment history with contactable references.
Clear criminal record and ITC.
Salary & Benefits
Basic Salary: R25,000 – R30,000 per month (Negotiable depending on experience)
