Petrol Technician / Mechanic – Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal (Full-Time)
Job Overview
A well-established and busy dealership based in Ballito is seeking an experienced Petrol Technician / Mechanic to join their dynamic workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and motivated technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills who is passionate about the automotive industry and delivering high-quality workmanship.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and workshop efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on petrol vehicles
• Perform fault-finding and diagnostics using diagnostic equipment
• Ensure all repairs are completed according to manufacturer standards
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify mechanical issues
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Complete job cards and workshop documentation accurately
• Work effectively within a fast-paced dealership workshop environment
Minimum Requirements
• Qualified Petrol Technician / Motor Mechanic
• Previous dealership experience essential
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Traceable references
• Clear criminal record
Salary & Benefits
• Salary: R19 500 – R20 000 basic (negotiable depending on experience)
