New Vehicle Sales Manager – Durban Surrounding Areas
Job Overview
A top-selling automotive brand dealership in the Durban surrounding areas is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven New Vehicle Sales Manager to join their management team.
This position requires a strong automotive sales leader with extensive New Vehicle Sales Management experience, a proven track record of achieving sales targets and the ability to successfully manage and motivate a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the New Vehicle Sales Department
Drive new vehicle sales and ensure monthly targets are achieved
Lead, motivate and manage the New Vehicle Sales team
Monitor individual and departmental sales performance
Implement strategies to increase sales, profitability and market penetration
Manage vehicle stock levels and stock turn
Monitor gross profit and deal profitability
Assist with deal structuring and closing where required
Ensure excellent customer service and CSI standards
Manage leads, prospecting and sales opportunities
Maintain manufacturer and dealership standards
Ensure all sales administration and reporting is completed accurately
Work closely with the Dealer Principal and other dealership departments
Minimum Requirements
5–6+ years' New Vehicle Sales Management experience is essential
Current or recent experience within a franchised motor dealership
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding New Vehicle Sales targets
Strong leadership and people-management skills
Excellent knowledge of dealership sales operations
Strong understanding of stock management, gross profit and deal structuring
Target-driven and commercially focused
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Stable employment history with contactable references
Valid driver's licence
Salary & Benefits
Basic Salary: R25 000 – R35 000 per month, negotiable depending on experience
