Job Overview
A fast-moving volume brand dealership in Umhlanga is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Motor Mechanic / Technician Apprentice (Level One) to join their workshop team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring automotive technician to gain valuable hands-on experience within a reputable dealership environment while developing technical skills and industry knowledge under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist qualified technicians with vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
• Learn and apply manufacturer standards and workshop procedures
• Assist with vehicle inspections and basic diagnostics
• Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and work areas
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
• Participate in ongoing technical training and development
Minimum Requirements
• Motor Mechanic / Technician Apprentice Level One experience
• Valid driver's license
• Matric certificate
• Traceable references
• Clear criminal record and ITC
• Passion for the automotive industry and willingness to learn
Salary & Benefits
• Basic salary: R8 900 – R9 100 (negotiable depending on experience)
