Diagnostic Technician - Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal
Job Overview
Intercon Recruitment is recruiting a Diagnostic Technician for a position in Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal. We are looking for an experienced technician with strong fault-finding skills and the ability to identify and resolve vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform vehicle diagnostic assessments to identify faults.
• Use diagnostic equipment to investigate mechanical, electrical and electronic issues.
• Interpret diagnostic results and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Carry out troubleshooting and verify that identified faults have been resolved.
• Record diagnostic findings and work completed accurately.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and workshop safety.
Minimum Requirements
• 4–5 years’ vehicle diagnostic experience.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using vehicle diagnostic equipment.
• Sound technical knowledge and attention to detail.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: R18,000–R22,000 per month, negotiable depending on experience, plus incentives, medical aid and pension.
