Automotive Service Advisor – Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal
Job Overview
An established motor dealership in Hillcrest is seeking an experienced, professional and customer-focused Service Advisor.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a smooth customer service experience and maintaining effective communication between customers and the workshop.
Key Responsibilities
Handle service bookings and customer enquiries.
Open and manage workshop job cards.
Liaise with Technicians and workshop management.
Keep customers informed about vehicle service progress.
Prepare quotations and obtain customer authorisation.
Coordinate vehicle collections and customer handovers.
Resolve customer service concerns.
Maintain accurate administration and customer records.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years' Service Advisor experience within a motor dealership.
Experience using Automate, Evolve or similar dealership management systems.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
Experience opening and managing workshop job cards.
Ability to work under pressure in a busy service department.
Professional, reliable and customer-focused.
Valid driver's licence preferred.
Salary & Benefits
R12,000 – R18,000 per month, negotiable depending on experience.
