Job Overview
A well-established and busy automotive dealership in Umhlanga is seeking an experienced Assistant Parts Sales Manager / Senior Parts Sales Executive to join their parts department.
This opportunity is suited to an experienced automotive parts professional with strong sales ability, excellent industry contacts, and an established customer database. The successful candidate must be capable of generating and growing parts sales while assisting with the day-to-day running of the parts sales department.
Key Responsibilities
Drive parts sales and achieve monthly sales targets.
Actively generate new business and grow the existing customer base.
Utilise and develop an established customer database.
Maintain strong relationships with workshops, panel beaters, fleet customers, trade clients and other industry contacts.
Prepare quotations and follow up on customer enquiries.
Identify and source the correct parts according to customer requirements.
Assist with managing and supporting the parts sales team where required.
Provide professional advice and excellent customer service.
Maintain accurate sales administration and follow up on outstanding orders.
Assist management in growing the overall performance of the parts department.
Minimum Requirements
Proven automotive parts sales experience is essential.
Senior Parts Sales Executive or Assistant Parts Sales Management experience will be advantageous.
Must have an established customer database.
Strong knowledge of automotive parts and the motor industry.
Proven ability to generate and grow parts sales.
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Target-driven and sales focused.
Stable employment history with contactable references.
Valid driver's licence.
Salary & Benefits
Basic Salary: R15 000 – R20 000 per month, depending on experience
Plus: Commission
