Job Overview
A well-established commercial truck company in Polokwane is seeking a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic / Technician to join its technical team.
The successful candidate must have solid experience servicing, diagnosing and repairing commercial trucks.
Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain and repair commercial trucks.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately.
Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance.
Repair and replace defective components.
Complete job cards and service records accurately.
Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
Minimum Requirements
Must be a qualified Diesel Mechanic with a recognised trade qualification.
Minimum of three to five years’ experience working on commercial trucks.
Must be fluent in Afrikaans and English.
Aged 25 - 35
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
Sound mechanical and technical knowledge.
Computer literacy will be advantageous.
Valid South African driver’s licence.
Must reside in Polokwane or be willing to relocate.
Salary & Benefits
Negotiable, market-related salary based on qualifications and experience.
